Who is Jesus and Why Believe His Teachings?
Before jumping into the prophecies on the End of the Age, we should have an understanding as to who is saying these things; Jesus is the Christ, the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, as well as the one and only Son of God. As the Lamb of God, Jesus chose to suffer being nailed to the cross at Calvary as a sign of His obedience to the will of God, as an agent and servant of God. Jesus’s choice shows Him as a man of obedience, in contrast to Adam’s disobedience.
God raised Jesus from the dead after He was crucified and dead for three days. Jesus then ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father, with his followers awaiting his return to Earth and God’s subsequent Last Judgment.
Even the current year we live in and use in our calendars (2025, as of this being written), points back to Him – in fact all human history is now considered, arranged, and planned around this significant date – with years and events prior to His birth being listed as “Before Christ” (BC) and those after as “Anno Domini” (AD), a Medieval Latin term which means “in the year of the Lord”. Below are some more resources that help explain who Jesus is, and why you can trust and believe in the things He taught.
John 14:6 – For Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The Prophetic Proof – Signs of the End of the Age
The Biblical prophetic evidence stacking up has never been stronger. What’s mind blowing is that our current world situation was predicted thousands of years ago by Jesus and other prophets, who were given revelations from God. Many of these events have already happened and others are coming true right before our eyes. These prophecies made almost 2,000 years ago by Jesus are taken from the books of the Bible in the New Testament, which were written by some of Jesus’s Disciples about the “Olivet Discourse”, in which Jesus predicted multiple future events shortly before his crucifixion around the year of AD 33.
